From Lima to the World: La Mar Launches a Global Experience Dedicated to Peruvian Cebiche

Throughout June, La Mar will celebrate cebiche with a campaign born in Lima and present in San Francisco, Bellevue, Doha, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, and Bogotá.
Every June 28, Peru celebrates Cebiche Day, a date that honors one of the most emblematic dishes of its culinary identity. This year, La Mar extends the celebration throughout the entire month with Cebiche Month, a global campaign that connects different cities through a unique selection of cebiches inspired by the regions, products, and cultural influences of Peru.
Few dishes have carried Peru’s name as far as cebiche. Its freshness, depth of flavor, and apparent simplicity have made it one of the most powerful ambassadors of Peruvian gastronomy, bringing its products, techniques, and traditions to new audiences around the world.
A sensory journey across six cities around the world
From June 1 to 30, Cebiche Month will arrive at La Mar in San Francisco, Bellevue, Doha, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, and Bogotá with a special menu of four cebiches selected for each city.
The proposal invites guests on a journey through the different regions and influences of Peru through its most emblematic dish. Each cebiche begins with a territory, a product, or a tradition: the herbal freshness of the Amazon, the intensity of the Andes, the strength of the northern coast, the popular spirit of Peruvian cebicherías, the flavors of the south, Nikkei influence, and a warm, charcoal-grilled version that reinterprets cebiche through a contemporary lens.
In this way, each creation becomes a different stop within the same journey: a way to discover how cebiche can express the diversity of Peru without losing the essence that makes it unique.

With this campaign, La Mar reaffirms its role as an ambassador of the Peruvian cebichería around the world and turns June into an invitation to discover the diversity of Peru through its most iconic dish.
