An intimate wine-pairing experience blending Napa Valley excellence with Peruvian innovation.
On Thursday, October 16th, La Mar San Francisco, Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé, and Cathiard Vineyard Napa Valley are collaborating on an unforgettable night of Food & Wine!
This in-person event will take place at our private, limited-seating Chef’s Table. You’ll will immerse themselves in a 6-course menu highlighting the vibrant flavors of Peru, paired with two of the Cathiard Family’s flagship wineries—Bordeaux and Napa Valley side by side—each showcasing their hallmark elegance and craftsmanship.
- Château Smith Haut Lafitte White Bordeaux (97 pts, Wine Enthusiast) – pairs beautifully with Bien Venida: corn cake, king salmon tartar, and avocado.
- Cathiard Vineyard Hora Red Blend (94 pts, Wine Enthusiast) – complements Ceviche: ahi tuna with watermelon and sweet pepper leche de tigre.
- Cathiard Vineyard Founding Brothers Red Blend (96 pts, Wine Enthusiast) – enhances Nigiris: wagyu beef, duck breast, chu-toro, and o-toro tuna.
- Château Smith Haut Lafitte Red Bordeaux (97 pts, Wine Enthusiast) – paired with Bocadillos: fish sausage sandwich, lobster arepa, and Dungeness crab gyoza.
- Cathiard Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (98 pts, Wine Enthusiast) – served alongside Black Cod: baked codfish in aji panca-miso sauce with quinoa tamal.
- And a surprise wine pairing – reserved for the Dessert: seasonal figs, goat cheese yogurt mousse, and almond praline.
